How will our ticket amplify your voice?
- Provide more opportunities for students to reach out to their Student Government
- Actively create more amicable relationships between student organizations and SGA by asking how we can better serve them rather than simply dictating what can and cannot be done
- Uphold and continue the use of the new digital feedback form, but also include physical feedback opportunities, such as multiple suggestion boxes all over both campuses
- Do a better job as SGA reaching out to students
- Acknowledge that if students are unaware of a resource, that is likely our fault, not their own
- Create a standing relationship with members of KSLU and the UNews and offer to partake in interviews with student reporters on a regular basis so that the student body knows more about what SGA is doing
- Have a standing meeting with the presidents of Residence Hall Association, Fraternity and Sorority Life, and Multicultural Greek Organizations (just under half of the undergraduate population lives on campus and just under a quarter are involved with a Fraternity or Sorority)
- Give students more opportunities to have their voices heard by administrators
- Push for more student worker positions around campus and make students are more aware of what opportunities are available to them and how these positions can positively affect their resumes
- Create an opportunity for students to meet with and talk to administrators in a relaxed setting without it being all about publicity
- Better utilize the student leaders we have to aid in the development process of the university so that alumni see who their gifts are helping
- Publicize applications for certain university committees that are open to any students and push for more opportunities like this
