Learn more about Antonia!

Antonia Simpson is a sophomore student currently pursuing a degree from the College for Public Health and Social Justice. She was a SLU 101 leader for the summer of 2017, and is currently a resident advisor in Reinert Hall. She is present on campus while holding leadership positions in both APO (Alpha Phi Omega, co-ed service fraternity) and Rainbow Alliance as the chair of diversity and intersectionality. She is also currently a Billiken Buddy for the academic school year. She also, in conjunction with another E-board member from Rainbow Alliance, has teamed up with ASAP (Assembly for Sexual Assault Prevention) to start a social media campaign about SLU’s sexual misconduct policy and what it entails. Socially, Antonia is a member of Fraternity and Sorority Life. From time to time, she volunteers at Food Outreach where the mission is to serve low-income community members battling HIV/AIDS and/or cancer.

Antonia intends on making efforts at SLU to make academic resources more accessible to students combating mental health. She also would like to work with advisors to adjust the curriculum for undecided students in efforts to make the transition to declaring a major more comfortable. Additionally, she is dedicated to assisting students with marginalized identities inside and outside of the classroom.
